TET map taberna

From the Pyrenees to the coast, passing through rural areas where life retains its traditional rhythm, following the TET means leaving the busiest asphalt and rediscovering the connection with the terrain, with the journey… and with oneself.

You can consult the official route and download the GPX on the Trans Euro Trail page.

To enjoy this adventure to the fullest, choosing the right motorcycle is key. There are those who prefer robust and versatile models, such as the Honda Africa Twin, perfect for long routes and varied terrain. Others opt for lighter motorcycles, such as the Honda NX 500, ideal for technical tracks thanks to its 21-inch front wheel.
In our case, they are the ones we use to travel along this route, and we know first-hand how well they behave on this type of route.

TET taberna

But on a route like the TET, it’s not all gasoline and dust. Catalonia is also discovered through its cuisine.
Along the way, it is worth stopping at a town inn or tavern to try dishes such as:

– Escudella i carn d’olla: the Catalan stew par excellence, strong and full of history.
– Coca de recapte: a thin dough focaccia with roasted vegetables and sausages, typical of the Catalan interior.

They are recipes born from the earth, designed to comfort after an intense day, and that tell much more than what appears on the plate.
Because each stop along the way can also be a new trip: to a flavor, to a local story, or to one of those moments that stay with you.
